Role: Junior Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator (Content Creation & Support)
-
Location: Cromer (on-site, full-time)
-
Salary: AUD 65,000–75,000 + super (depending on experience)
-
Reporting to: Head of Digital
About the role:
We’re looking for a Junior Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator to drive the day-to-day execution of content creation and social media management for Nokori, with a primary focus on B2C, with opportunities to support B2B initiatives as needed.
This is a hands-on, execution + support role — ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn.
You won’t be responsible for strategy. You’ll work closely with the Head of Digital, with clear priorities, guidance, and approvals. The goal is simple: become the engine behind the team’s content creation and social presence, while learning fast and growing professionally. We particularly value initiative, experimentation, and curiosity for innovation.
We work with modern tools, and automation and AI are central to our team, making this an exceptional place to learn a lot and grow quickly.
What you’ll do / key responsibilities:
1) Content Creation & Social Media Management (top priority)
- Plan, create, and publish engaging, on-brand content across key social channels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Support the execution of the content strategy (calendar, formats, copy) across platforms.
- Maintain strong visual and messaging consistency across all channels.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and manage the online community.
- Repurpose/adapt content for other channels (email, ads, website).
2) Quality Assurance — attention to detail is essential
- Follow QA checklists before launching any content or campaign (posts, stories, ads, emails, landing pages, promotions).
- Catch issues early: broken links, incorrect discount codes, display/formatting issues, copy/design errors, etc.
3) Execution Support (Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Ads, Canva)
-
Canva: Create and adapt marketing assets (ads, email banners, simple graphics, social content) quickly and consistently, always following brand guidelines.
-
Shopify: Support updates to products and pages (content, images, pricing, FAQs), and assist with landing pages and promotions.
-
Klaviyo: Help build and schedule email campaigns, support updates to automation flows, and run QA on templates, links, segments, and tracking.
-
Google Ads: Support ad content and asset preparation (copy variations, creative assets, UTMs, landing page checks) and help with reporting/insights for existing campaigns (not responsible for building or managing campaigns).
4) Support Reporting & Performance
- Help produce and maintain fortnightly and monthly performance reports across key channels (Social, Google Ads, Shopify, Klaviyo + web metrics).
- Keep dashboards/spreadsheets clean and consistent (naming conventions, UTM hygiene, basic data quality).
- Flag anomalies, highlight changes, and contribute clear observations (what changed, why it may have changed, what to check next).
What success looks like (first 60–90 days):
- Our social presence and content quality visibly improve.
- Performance reports are delivered consistently, with clear notes and actionable insights.
- A usable SOP library for Content Creation and Social Media is created/updated and ready for the team.
- You make fewer avoidable mistakes thanks to strong QA.
- You execute defined content, social, and support tasks end-to-end within agreed guardrails, with required approvals.
What we’re looking for /must-haves:
- Native or near-native English (you’ll support customer-facing copy and content).
- Junior hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and basic design (e.g. Canva).
- Comfortable with user-level short-form video editing (e.g. CapCut, Canva video) — nothing professional.
- An active social media user who genuinely enjoys spending time on platforms and stays on top of what’s trending.
- Working knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo (junior/execution level), plus familiarity with Google Ads for content/asset support and reporting (not campaign management).
- Strong attention to detail (you naturally double-check work and follow checklists).
- Analytical and critical thinking: you notice when something’s off and communicate it early.
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work on-site in Cromer full-time.
Nice-to-haves (valued, not required):
- Familiarity with Meta Ads.
- SEO fundamentals.
- Interest/experience in automation (especially n8n or similar) and/or AI tools for content.
Extra valued: projects you’ve built (even if they failed)
We highly value candidates who have experimented with personal projects (websites, ecommerce stores, campaigns, content channels, automations, small brands, etc.). Success isn’t required — we care about initiative and learning.
Please include links/examples of your work (portfolio, Shopify site, landing pages, ad examples, Canva designs, content channels, edited content samples — especially short-form videos — and any automations, etc.).
